Risk Basic Rules   (For more details see the actual Board Game Rules)
Special eMail Rules
For each turn the player nominates the one adjacent Territory to be attacked, from another specified Territory.
Conditions can be placed on this attack i.e. to stop after so many attempts, or when number of armies reaches a set number.
Otherwise the attack will be resolved to completion.
The player can specify any number of attacks and conditions in his turn, which can then be resolved.
Once all attacks are complete for the specific player the turn will pass to the next player.

General Rules
At the beginning of each turn a player gets 1 army for every 3 Territories, plus a number (see map) if a continent is completely occupied by that player. These armies are placed on any Territory already occupied by that player.
The player is entitled to a minimum of 3 armies.
Armies can also be gained by play of cards - set of 3, 1 of each kind, any 2 cards & a joker (see table below).
In addition, if the cards played are of a Territory occupied by that Player then 2 extra Armies are placed on that Territory.

Initial Setup   Cards
Players Armies Allocated Initially Placed Armies to place Set Armies   Set Armies
3 35 14 21 1 4   7 20
4 30 10 or 20 or 2 6   8 25
  11 19 3 8   9 30
5 25 8 or 17 or 4 10   10 35
  9 16 5 12   etc etc
6 20 7 13 6 15     +5

If a Player captures at least one Territory in his turn then he gets an extra card. He may never hold more than 5 Cards.
The winner is the one who occupies all of the Territories, or by a mutually agreed result.
More cards can be obtained by wiping out another player and gaining his cards: If at this point the attacker has 5 or more he MUST make another set - if however the attacker has 3 or 4 then he can make a set if possible.

Sequence for each Turn

  1. Check for number of armies entitled to - count Territories/3, check extra for Continents, play of cards.
  2. Place all armies in own Territories.
  3. Attack, attack, attack - as many times as required (must have at least 2 armies in Territory to attack, and must move armies after each attack)
  4. End attack by choice or by running out of armies or territories to attack.

  6. Take one card - if successfully taken a Territory.
  7. End of Turn - on to next Player.
